Engagement Announcement... kind of:
Let it be known that I have officially registered and committed to running in my very first half marathon! OMG!
On May 16th, just 2 weeks after my 25th birthday, God-willing, I will be running 13.1 miles... on the same day,in a row! I was expecting to have to travel since silly me thought there was only one half marathon in Chicago every year,in September, and my goal was to do one the spring. I guess I'll have to find a different excuse to go to Nashville...
